Good morning,

In an effort to improve parent, family, and community engagement supports for all schools in South Carolina, the South Carolina Department of Education's Federal Accountability Office, along with the Family and Community Engagement Office (FACE), is asking all schools, including non-Title I schools, to complete a Family-School-Community Partnerships Inventory by January 15, 2018. It is important for your schools to participate in the survey.  The information gathered is confidential and is strictly being used to help improve the SCDE’s efforts to support all schools in South Carolina.  If there are questions or concerns please contact me. To access the survey, please click on the following link:

The survey is divided into six sections representing the PTA National Standards for Family-School Partnerships. The standards offer a framework for how families, schools, and communities can work together to support student success. For more information about the standards and how this inventory can be used to help develop and improve programs, practices, and policies that affect family and community engagement in your schools, visit
